raw exists for one reason: real content from real people. These Community Guidelines define what belongs on the platform and what doesn't. They apply to all content, interactions, and accounts on the Service. By using raw, you agree to follow these guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, account restriction, or permanent ban.
We enforce these guidelines through a combination of automated systems, user reports, and human review. Our goal is a platform where every piece of content is authentic and every user feels safe.
The foundation of raw is verified authentic content. Every video on this platform is subject to our anti-tampering analysis. This is not optional — it is the core of what raw is.
(a) Video was captured directly through a physical camera sensor — not reproduced, re-recorded, or screen-captured from another source.
(b) No filters, beauty effects, AR overlays, or visual modifications have been applied.
(c) No AI generation, deepfake technology, or synthetic media tools were used.
(d) No post-capture editing beyond basic trimming of start and end points.
We take a graduated approach to tampered content enforcement. The severity of the response escalates with repeated violations:
Level 1 — Flagged: Content identified as potentially tampered is labeled with a visible authenticity warning. The content remains accessible, but other users can see that it did not pass verification. The uploader is notified.
Level 2 — Warned: Upon a second instance of tampered content from the same account, the user receives a formal warning. The content is labeled and its distribution may be restricted (e.g., excluded from discovery feeds and recommendations).
Level 3 — Restricted: Continued violations result in account restrictions. Upload capabilities may be temporarily suspended and existing content may undergo additional review. The user is notified and given an opportunity to appeal.
Level 4 — Banned: Persistent or egregious attempts to upload tampered content, or deliberate attempts to circumvent our detection systems, will result in permanent account termination. Banned users may not create new accounts.
Raw reserves the right to skip levels for severe or clearly intentional violations, including but not limited to coordinated campaigns to defeat the verification system.
The following content is strictly prohibited on raw. Uploading, sharing, or promoting any of the following will result in immediate content removal and may result in account suspension or termination:
(a) Content depicting, promoting, or glorifying violence against people or animals.
(b) Graphic or gratuitous depictions of injury, death, or gore.
(c) Threats of violence, whether specific or general, directed at individuals, groups, or the public.
(d) Content promoting or providing instructions for acts of terrorism, mass violence, or self-harm.
Raw has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material and any content that exploits or endangers minors. Any such content will be immediately removed and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement authorities. Accounts involved will be permanently banned without appeal.
(a) Targeted harassment, intimidation, or bullying of any individual.
(b) Doxxing — sharing private personal information (address, phone number, workplace, etc.) without consent.
(c) Coordinated campaigns of abuse against individuals or groups.
(d) Non-consensual intimate imagery (revenge porn) or threats to share such material.
Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic. This includes the use of slurs, dehumanizing language, hateful symbols, and conspiracy theories targeting protected groups.
(a) Repetitive, unsolicited, or bulk content designed to artificially amplify reach.
(b) Fake engagement schemes including purchased followers, likes, or views.
(c) Scams, phishing, or deceptive schemes designed to defraud users.
(d) Malware distribution or links to malicious websites.
(a) Content promoting illegal activities, including drug trafficking, weapons sales, or human trafficking.
(b) Content promoting self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
(c) Sexually explicit content, except in jurisdictions and contexts where users are of legal age and the content complies with applicable law.
3.1. Respect the intellectual property rights of others. Do not upload content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or other proprietary rights of any third party.
3.2. Only upload content that you have created yourself or have explicit authorization to share. Recording someone else's content from a screen and uploading it as your own is both an authenticity violation and a potential copyright infringement.
3.3. If you believe your intellectual property has been infringed on raw, you may file a DMCA notice as described in our Terms of Service.
raw is a platform for real people sharing real content. While you may use a username or handle that is not your legal name, your account must represent a real individual. Accounts that misrepresent their identity or are operated by automated systems (bots) are prohibited.
Do not impersonate other individuals, brands, organizations, or public figures. Parody or fan accounts must be clearly identified as such in the account name or bio. Accounts that cause confusion about their identity or affiliation may be removed.
Each individual may maintain one active account on raw. Operating multiple accounts to evade enforcement actions, manipulate engagement, or circumvent restrictions is prohibited.
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it. In-app reporting is available on every piece of content and every user profile. Reports are reviewed by our Trust & Safety team and may trigger automated or manual review processes.
When submitting a report, please include as much context as possible, including the specific guideline you believe was violated. All reports are confidential — we do not reveal the identity of reporters to the reported user.
Depending on the severity of the violation, we may take one or more of the following actions:
(a) Content Removal: The violating content is removed from the platform.
(b) Warning: The account holder receives a formal warning notification.
(c) Temporary Restriction: The account's uploading, commenting, or other capabilities are temporarily suspended.
(d) Temporary Suspension: The account is temporarily suspended from all platform access.
(e) Permanent Ban: The account is permanently terminated and the user is prohibited from creating new accounts.
Certain violations result in immediate content removal and potential immediate account termination without prior warning. These include CSAM, credible threats of violence, terrorism-related content, and non-consensual intimate imagery.
6.1. If you believe your content was removed or your account was restricted in error, you have the right to appeal. Appeals are currently processed via email.
6.2. How to Appeal: Send an email to appeals@raw.ski with the following information: (a) your username; (b) the content or action you are appealing; (c) why you believe the decision was incorrect; and (d) any supporting information or context.
6.3. Appeals are reviewed by a member of our Trust & Safety team who was not involved in the original decision. We aim to respond to appeals within seven (7) business days.
6.4. The appeal decision is final. For authenticity-related appeals, we may re-run verification analysis on the original content as part of the review process.
Raw may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in our platform, user feedback, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will notify users through the Service. Your continued use of raw after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated guidelines.

raw is built on a simple belief: the internet should be real. These guidelines exist to protect that mission and the people who share it.
