What is raw?

raw is a watermark that proves a video is an unaltered capture from a real device, attributed to a real creator. Every raw-marked video has a 6-character code you can look up at raw.ski to see the original, the recording device, and a tamper score.

How do I verify a video?

Type the 6-character code from the bottom-left of the watermark at raw.ski/verify, or scan the QR code on the clip. You'll land on the original capture, the creator, and the tamper score.

How do I delete my account?

Open the raw app → Settings → Delete account. This removes your videos and personal data within 30 days. If you've lost access to the app, email support@raw.ski from the address on your account.

Email support@raw.ski from the address you signed up with and we'll help you recover it.

A raw video says tamper score 0.4 — is it fake?

Not necessarily. The tamper score is a probabilistic signal from on-device analysis. Higher scores mean our detectors saw something unusual (screen recording, synthetic artefacts, motion that doesn't match the IMU). raw provides a strong signal, not a legal certification. See the Terms for the full disclaimer.

How do journalists contact you?

Email press@raw.ski. We'll answer every question on the record.
